Julio, 2020 Participant
Julio was earning $13 per hour before he enrolled in the Forklift Essentials course. Upon receiving his Forklift Operators License, Project Azul assisted Julio in obtaining a new job where he currently earns $19 per hour as a forklift operator with a logistics company in Plainfield. Julio says, “My motivation for connecting with Project Azul was to obtain a better position that provided me with financial stability. The training helped me learn how to operate forklift trucks safely and gain a better position.”
