We support participants as they receive a job-ready credential and place them in careers in fast-growing employment sectors.   • Walter, originally from El Salvador, connected to Project Azul in 2020. Walter was looking to transition into a company that would provide a career pathway. After successful completion of the forklift training, Walter was offered an Equipment Operator opportunity and now earns $17 per hour. Walter also recently attended the Team Lead training and with the assistance of the coach, landed an interview for a team lead position. Walter states “Thanks to Project Azul, I have achieved a good career, working indoors, with benefits, and ready for any promotion available”.

  • Charles was unemployed when he connected with Project Azul through a career navigator at our nonprofit partner, CAGI. He had been shot in 2016 and had to receive help to relearn how to eat and walk on his own. He was motivated by his desire to succeed in life and provide for his family. After completing the forklift training, he has landed a good paying position with opportunity for career advancement.
